Outstanding for behaviour

In this ever changing climate, with specialist support declining, it becomes more necessary to have a better insight into the mental health and behaviour needs of all the children in your care.

Training from The Mulberry Bush gives an excellent opportunity to have a professional dialogue, to test out your own ideas and learn from others…….The training provided improves staff confidence, raises expectations and improves the quality of teaching and learning.

This four session programme is split into two sections:

Outstanding for Behaviour

Aims:

  • To support teachers’ to develop their understanding of behaviour as communication.
  • To understand causes, prevention and de-escalation of challenging behaviour.

Attachment: Introduction and practice

Aims:

  • To develop teachers’ understanding of attachment issues and know how this relates to relationship difficulties at school.
  • To understand attachment theory and how attachment issues can effect children socially and emotionally.
