National Professional Qualifications

Best Practice Network.

 

The registration window for programmes starting in Autumn 2018 is now open and will close on Friday 31 August 2018.

 

Applicants completing their programme application are asked to identify the following partner allocation code: 

OX-TSA

 

 

NPQML

 

The National Professional Qualification for Middle Leadership (NPQML) is for those who are, or are aspring to become, a middle leader with responsbility for leading a team such as a key stage leader, a curriculum area leader, a pastoral services leader, a subject leader, a special educational needs co-ordinator (SENCO), or a head of department.

NPQH

 

The National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) focuses on the key skills needed for headship and meets the highest standards for leadership development anywhere in the world.

 

Who is this for?

The National Professional Qualification for Headship (NPQH) is for those who are, or are aspiring to become, a headteacher or head of school with responsibility for leading a school.

This includes those who are, or are aspiring to be, a headteacher or head of school with cross-school responsibilities such as a National Leader of Education (NLE).

NPQEL

 

The National Professional Qualification for Executive Leadership (NPQEL) for those aspiring to, or already in, a leadership role across more than one school.

 

Who is this for?

NPQEL is suitable for colleagues aspiring to, or already in, leadership roles across more than one school.  This includes headteachers, executive headteachers, chief operating officers and directors of school improvement.
