Oxford Art Teach

OAT is a network for art teachers in Oxfordshire and its region. They are composed of art teachers in the maintained and independent sectors, and art educators in gallery, museums and teacher training. Their aims are to:

  • Build a collaborative learning community and encourage shared support.
  • Disseminate information about the current art and wider education climate, whilst promoting debate.
  • Link partners with NSEAD and ‘engage’ and other regional organisations.
  • Provide a forum for sharing good practice.

The network plan to meet regularly once a term for twilight sessions and to hold occasional symposiums.
