Oxfordshire Secondary Schools Headteachers' Association (OSSHTA)

The purpose of OSSHTA is to be an organised, not bureaucratic, association of headteachers and principals that will meet regularly and maintain a supportive network focused on three key aspects of overall school improvement:

  • Developing learning and teaching across all schools and improving outcomes for all secondary-age young people across Oxfordshire

  • Improving the effective day-to-day leadership and management of our schools by sharing practice and seeking advice on key issues

  • Supporting one another in preparing for accountability to our communities and to external bodies such as OfSTED

Every secondary headteacher/principal automatically becomes a member of OSSHTA.  Further details are available from Carole McKivitt, OSSHTA Administrator on 01235 462424 or cmckivitt@fitzharrys.oxon.sch.uk
