Early Career Framework
The Early Career Framework is a programme for ECTs who began a statutory induction period before September 2025. If you began induction from 1 September 2025 onwards please refer to the Early Career Training Programme (ECTP) page.
The Early Career Framework is the evidence base which underpins the entitlement for early career teachers’ professional development. It sets out what all early career teachers should learn about and learn how to do during the first 2 years of their careers.
The Oxfordshire Teaching School Hub works in partnership with University College London to deliver the ECF programme for ECTs in our partner schools.
