Undergraduate Teaching Assistant Programme
BackOTSA is working on an exciting new project for 2025/26 to support schools with recruiting teaching assistants and, in the longer term, teachers.
Our aim is to recruit a cohort of students (current Year 12s who will be finishing their A Level / level 3 courses in June 2026) to complete a 3 year degree in primary or secondary education, in partnership with the University of Buckingham, beginning in June 2026, whilst working as Teaching Assistants (or similar roles) in partner schools. Once they have graduated, they will have the opportunity to train as teachers with us.
